National Coquito Day

 

Coquito meaning “Little Coconut” in Spanish, is a traditional Christmas drink that originated in Puerto Rico. The coconut-based alcoholic beverage is similar to eggnog and is sometimes referred to as Puerto Rican Eggnog. – Wikipedia

What to expect: December 21st, 2023, is actually National Coquito Day. Who knew!
So what better way to celebrate this cultural holiday than at the Caribar inside the iconic Caribe Hilton in San Juan, Puerto Rico?

We will have live music and, of course, amazing cocktails available for purchase at the Caribar.

 

All of this celebration will be a warm-up experience for the National Rum Festival of Puerto Rico, “Taste of Rum,” that will be celebrated in March 2024. 

 

Coquito Tasting Experience Area:
> Up to Six Coquito Bars
Attendees will be able to enjoy as many as six or more bars dedicated exclusively to making and selling the famous Coquito. Each participating rum brand will be offering a selection of unique Coquitos.

> Your ticket includes:
When purchasing the Coquito Tasting Experience, you will receive 4 Coquito Tasting Vouchers. Each voucher can be exchanged for 3-ounce samples of Coquito. Attendees will be able to taste different versions of this classic cocktail and discover new flavor combinations. Additionally, you have access to the dance area and goodies.

All ticket holders also get $5.00 OFF on site if you decide to purchase the news rum book titled “Puerto Rico’s Rum-Clopedia – A Brief History of Puerto Rico’s Rum Industry”

 

 

Event on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at the Caribar, Caribe Hilton Hotel in San Juan. The door will open at 7:00 PM to the public to be part of the Coquito Tasting Experience.
